COSMOPLAST
POLYETHYLENE PIPES |
Cosmoplast manufactures polyethylene pipes to
international standards such as BS, ASTM, DIN and ISO as well as to specific
customer requirements for individual applications. Within the Gulf region, the
most common standards specified for polyethylene pipes are DIN 8074 and ISO 4427
for potable water applications and ISO 4437 for gas applications.
Cosmoplast polyethylene products range include low
density and high density polyethylene pipes for irrigation applications in
diameters starting from 15mm and high and
medium density polyethylene

Cosmoplast polyethylene products
range include low density and high density polyethylene pipes for
irrigation applications in diameters
starting from 15mm and high
and medium density polyethylene
pipes for pressure applications
including potable water and gas
applications. These sizes can
range from 20mm up to 1,200mm.
Cosmoplast also manufactures inline drip pipe
which uses high precision pressure
compensation drippers inserted at regular intervals set according to customer
requirements. |

Depending on the diameter of the
pipe, Cosmoplast supplies pipe in both coils and straight lengths. Generally small diameters
are coiled and large diameters (>160mm
OD) are in straight lengths. Cosmoplast obtains its high
quality PE raw materials from the major
multinational supply companies whose expertise in devel oping and
pushing back the frontiers of polymer material technology is second to
mine. |

The wide variety of materials such as PE 100, PE
80, low density and linear low-density material grades that Cosmoplast use
has varied MRS (Minimum Required Strength) values. For
example, PE 100 material has MRS value of up to 10 Mpa. Such a
rating represents the material science capability within
the PE sector and Cosmoplast
ensures that it brings to
the customer the very best materials
available in the market today. Both excellent
weathering ability and resistance to Ultra-Violet (UV)
light (sunlight) can be obtained by utilizing the correct material
configurations available in the market. |
