Cosmoplast field joint systems guarantee optimal pipe layout for all projects. These jointing systems provide a matching insulation and pipe joint protection enclosure. The Cosmoplast field joint kit consists of two parts, the heat shrinkable sleeves and the polyurethane insulation chemicals comprising of Polyol and Isocyanate materials. The heat shrinkable sleeve is a molecular cross-linked and modified polyolefin with a sealing adhesive system consisting of an elastic-viscous sealing area. It is resistant against thermal
	ageing, weathering conditions and chemical attacks as well as being UV protected. Leak free due to its multi-layered structure as well as excellent resistance against dielectric breakdown. The sleeve is normally supplied with separate patch closure which is coated with a high shear-strength adhesive.
