PRESSURE PIPES

uPVC pressure pipes  when compared to other pressure pipe products have exhibited substantially lower failure rates. The high strength to weight ratio together with exceptional resistance to corrosion or chemical attack makes these pipes ideal for major infrastructure applications.

Cosmoplast’s PVC pressure pipes are suitable for:

  • Potable water distribution.

  • Industrial applications.

  • Effluent pipelines for pumped sewage, industrial and rural wastes.

  • Slurry pipelines carrying abrasive and corrosive mine or quarry materials.

  • Irrigation watering systems.

Cosmoplast manufactures uPVC pressure pipes with pressure rating upto 16 Bar in sizes ranging from 20mm upto 1200mm in diameter. These pipes are produced in both imperial and metric dimensions to ASTM, BS and DIN standards and according to customer specifications.

Integral sockets manufactured by Cosmoplast operate at the same nominal working pressure as the pipes they are formed on. These are available in diameters from 40mm to 1200mm manufactured to ISO standards and 1 ¼ to 12 inches manufactured to B.S. standards. Integrating moulded and fabricated uPVC pressure fittings to the pressure pipe systems enhances the safety and sustainability of the systems.

Cosmoplast’s pressure pipes will continue to serve the region’s growing development needs to expand their existing water and sewer systems and also rehabilitate deteriorating buried piping infrastructure.
